TRIAT FILMS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN "YES WE CANNES FILM FESTIVAL"!

POSTER DESIGN by: Jim Garrett

Back in August, our film, “Call for Help,” placed in the top three at the LA 48 Hour Film Project. That qualified us to compete in this invite-only competition, “Yes We Cannes,” where the best teams across the country go head to head.

Very proud of our team and excited to say we got our film submitted by the deadline!

There’s something really special about the challenge of creating short films start to finish in two days with almost no money.

Thank you to the team for your hard work and to my in-laws for letting me create another movie at their house!

Can’t wait to see what all the teams made!

WORDS FROM THE FESTIVAL

"The Yes We Cannes Global Film Challenge (YWC for short), is the ultimate clash of the titans. In this worldwide invitational competition, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of Best Film from each city are given the chance to make a brand new film. And this time around are given 53 hours to complete their films.

The top 14 films will screen at Filmapalooza in Seattle in March 2025! Then, the BEST 8 films will be selected to grace the big screen at our special screenings at the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival.

The winner of Best Film will win $2000 dollars and is guaranteed to screen at Filmapalooza and Cannes."
